"What's wrong?" Emberpaw asked as her daughter groaned in pain. She couldn't help but feel guilty for what happened, she just left Periwinkle there and stormed off.

Radge was shocked at Emberpaw's reaction, but hastily looked Periwinkle over. "What's wrong Peri?"
"My paw, it hurts." Periwinkle said. "I want mum..." Tears were welling in her eyes. "I'm sorry..."

Emberpaw moved to her daughters side, gently stroking her back with her tail. "Ssh, it's okay" she soothed, laying comforting licks on Periwinkle's ears.

Periwinkle sniffled, then turned to bury her face in her mother's fur.
Radge cleared his throat to get Emberpaw's attention. "We should get Flameheart."

Emberpaw nodded in agreement. "Should we all go or bring her here?" she asked, still soothing Periwinkle.
Dair stopped his pouncing, wondering where his father had gone and what was taking him so long. He headed towards where his father disappeared to. He found his family and noticed Periwinkle's state. "What happened?" he asked worriedly.

"Periwinkle broke her paw. Emberpaw and I are going to fetch help. You two move her to the burrow, I'll run and get Taz to look after them while we're gone." Radge instructed, taking charge like a true father. He waited to make sure they understood him.

Emberpaw nodded. She didn't like it when Radge ordered her around, but she knew it was for the best. She took up one of Periwinkle's side.
Dair nodded at his father. He mirrored his mother's movements and took up his sister's other side.

Radge took their silence as acceptance and took off towards the barn. Taz spotted him while he was still a ways off and came out to meet him.
"Are you alright?" The puppy asked upon seeing Radge out of breath and looking worried.
"No, Periwinkle has been hurt, I need you to come watch over the kits while Emberpaw and I get help." Radge said.
"Of course!" Taz said, following Radge back towards the burrow. He worried about poor little Periwinkle, but Radge was clearly more concerned. His nightmares were coming to life!

Emberpaw and Dair slowly led Periwinkle back towards the burrow. Emberpaw hoped that Taz would be able to come and that they'd be back soon. She knew that the sooner they got back, the sooner Radge and herself could go get Flameheart.

Radge came into the den with a couple mice in his jaws that he'd caught on the way. He gave one to each of his kits. "Taz is here. Dair stay inside with Periwinkle alright? We'll be back soon. If you need anything ask Taz."
"Ready?" He asked, looking at Emberpaw.
Periwinkle looked away from the mouse, in too much pain to eat.

Dair nodded in thanks and understanding. He flashed Taz a small, shy smile as a sign of greeting.
Emberpaw looked back at her kits and Taz, she didn't want to leave Periwinkle here while she was injured. She turned and nodded reluctantly. "Let's go" she mewed.

Radge licked the top of his mate's head comfortingly. "She'll be okay." He comforted.
Taz nodded in agreement. "Yep, safe with me I promise!"

"I know, I just worry" Emberpaw mewed, turning to face Taz. "Thanks for coming to watch them Taz" she said, turning back to Radge. "We ready?" she asked, she wanted to get there and back as fast as posssible.

Emberpaw said a final goodbye to her kits before starting in the direction of RiverClan. She just wanted to get to Flameheart and back to Periwinkle and Dair as soon as possible. "I hope Peri will be okay" she mewed partly to herself and partly to Radge.

Emberpaw felt a smile grace her maw, despite her worry. She purred back and nuzzled Radge briefly. "And not to mention your confidence" she mewed.

Emberpaw opened her maw and was met with the fishy smell that came with RiverClan territory. She could tell they were almost there. "Now we just have to find her" she mewed mostly to herself.

Emberpaw settled next to her mate, har amber gaze scanning the borderline.

A lithe ginger she-cat padded amongst the newly growing herbs. Her blue eyes carfully searching for any ready herbs. Flameheart noticed a batch of marigold growing, and she carefully began harvesting the yellow flowers.

Radge spotted the she-cat and hissed her name quietly from behind a bush. "It's radge." He called.

Taz was just sitting outside when suddenly he smelled twoleggeds approaching. He narrowed his eyes in concern and looked back, getting worried.

Emberpaw saw the familar she-cat and was about to call her, but Radge did it first.

Flamheart's ears perked as she heard her name. She looked around before noticing the tabby pelt and she padded over. "Hello Radge, Emberpaw" she mewed, greeting the young couple.

Emberpaw waited, hoping that Radge was going to explain what happened. When she realized he paused for her to explain, she quickly organized the events. "Well Periwinkle got angry with us and ran off. She found a fox and tried to fight it but ended up with a broken paw" she mewed "and we're not sure how to fix it."
Flameheart listened to the story and thought for a moment. She didn't think she could slip free at the moment but she could offer some herbs and advice. "Stay here and I'll go grab you some herbs" she mewed. She turned and rushed back to camp, preying that the break wasn't too bad.
