Shadowcross smiled at him.
"I guess they will. Just tell them that I fell for my shining hero," she meowed, twitching her whiskers in amusement, "That should suit their fancy." With a chuckle, Shadowcross adjusted her position so that she was more comfortable and looked out over the camp, happy to be out in the clearing again.

Tidalwave could feel a blush creep on his cheeks at her comment. He never thought of himself as a hero, ever, he was just being helpful. "And I'll just say I fell for the princess I rescued" he mewed, his smile even brighter.

Shadowcross sniffed.
"Less than believable, I'm afraid." She paused, looking at him for a moment. Her features softened and she smiled. "But thanks for the thought." She purred, feeling somehow... pretty. Shadowcross had never been big into appearances, and had never thought herself attractive or at all like a princess. But Tidalwave made her feel beautiful, somehow. It was a nice feeling.

"Well you're a princess to me" Tidalwave mewed, a purr rumbling in his chest. He didn't really care what anyone else said about them being together, he was happy. If someone would've told him he'd end up with Shadowcross, he would've laughed, but now he wouldn't change anything. Well, except for the fact that Shadowcross had to get run over for them to realize their feelings.

Shadowcross felt a flush of pleasure tingle through her body, and she couldn't help but smile.
"And you'll always be my hero." She mewed softly, leaning forward to give his muzzle a gentle lick.
