The furry sand tabby pounced on a vole, digging his fangs into it's neck to end it's life quickly. Licking the droplets of blood, Sparrowfeather began to enjoy his first meal of the day.
He had decided against eating from the fresh-kill pile to leave sufficient food for the rest of the clan, and had instead gone to enjoy a morning out hunting.
Sparrowfeather sat with his prey between his paws, his head dipped as he ripped a chunk off the vole's flesh. It was tasty.

A lith calico she-cat padded through the forest. Songstar was enjoying a little break from the hustle and bustle of camp. She decided to try and clear her mind, and forget about the possible invasion for a little while. She decided to head towards the clearing to see who was there.
Songstar spotted a familar tabby tom sitting with a vole. "Morning Sparrowfeather" she greeted, padding towards him.

The tom almost chocked when he saw Skyclan's leader padding toward him, hacking and coughing to dislocate the chunk of vole from his throat.
Dipping his head respectfully, and a little embarrassingly, Sparrowfeather said, "Good morning, Songstar." Sitting up straighter, he pushed his prey toward the she-cat. "Want a bite? Just caught it."

"Are you alright?" she asked watching as the tom choked. She looked at the vole before shaking her head. "I actually ate before I left" she mewed "but thanks for the offer."

Taking back the vole for himself, Sparrowfeather nodded. "I'm just fine now that you're here, my leader." He mewed, his player personality kicking into action.
He, of course, never knew where to draw the line, and hit on every she-cat that ranged from 13 moons and up. And up..
Taking another bite from the vole, he chewed carefully before swallowing. "And," Sparrowfeather said, "What brings you out here, oh beautiful Songstar?"

Songstar resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She knew that he was famous for flirting with anyone and everyone. "Nothing really, just trying to clear my head" she mewed. "So how's the prey running?" she asked, gesturing to the vole.

ooc; my, my, good luck with Sparrowfeather.. lol
ic;
The sandy tom looked down at his half-eaten catch. "It's decent," He mewed, taking another bite before adding. "Though it's nothing compared to how they run in full new-leaf, it's breathtaking." Sparrowfeather could tell that the leader wanted, strongly, to roll her eyes at his words, already used to the strained flicker of female's eyelids. "You have quite some beautiful eyes, my leader." He purred, then ventured a finishing bite to his vole.

((This should be fun))
Songstar listened as he spoke, she was about to say something when he spoke again. "Oh, um thanks" she mewed. She really didn't understand why he had to hit on everyone. He was pretty cute but his player attitude ruined it.

ooc; lol, it should. Hopefully, Songstar won't be the jealous type. ;D

Sparrowfeather smiled innocently at Songstar, edging closer to her. "And not just your eyes, my leader." He purred softly, his fluffy tail flicking mischievously behind him. "Your pelt, too. And you thin whiskers, and that elegant posture of yours." Pale yellow eyes creased as his innocent smile turned into a grin. "Don't you think so?"

((Idk if she will be, I havent decided yet))
Songstar was a little unnered by Sparrowfeather's closeness. She edged away to put more space between them. "Um I guess" she replied. No one had really tried to get close to her before, it was kind of nice. It's just an act her inner voice reminded her.

Sparrowfeather could only grin at Songstar's nervousness. It was not every day that he could flirt with a leader.
However, he did know when it was time to switch tactics to conquer a female.
Sparrowfeather allowed Songstar to have her space, looking down at his paws, shame-faced. "I'm sorry if I've been making you feel uncomfortable, my leader." He mewed apologetically. "I've just been dazzled by your beauty, that is all.."

Songstar was trying her hardest not to roll her eyes and shake her head. The flirting was getting ridicolous(sp?). If she didn't know his history than she might've fell for him, but because she did it would take a lot of convincing if he was serious. "Thats ok" she mewed.

ooc; maaaan, this is gonna be tough > <
Sparrowfeather now knew why Songstar was such a good leader. She wasn't easily deceived. Sitting up straight, the tom laid down his player skills to rest. The leader wasn't going to be easy, but that made him all the more interested. He'd have to think of something to get to her.

((Yeah, gotta make him work for it ;p))
Songstar watched the change in his posture and thanked StarClan that he was giving it a rest. "So how are you?" she asked.

ooc; lol, alright!
"I've been fine," Sparrowfeather mewed, finally finishing his vole. "What about you, Songstar?" He asked, turning to look at the leader with his pale yellow eyes.

"I've been good just a little busy" she mewed. She was glad he finally turned off the act so they could have a real conversation.

"That's to be expected, you're the leader, after all." Sparrowfeather said, smiling slightly. He wrapped his bushy tail around his paws, looking at Songstar. What had gone wrong with his player skills?

"Yeah, its tough sometimes" she mewed "and i'm still getting used to it." Songstar just looked at Sparrowfeather unsure of what to say next.

"Well, you're doing considerably well, Songstar." He purred, enjoying how her name sounded when he said it. "The clan is well managed, there haven't been any fights, and no one has died yet." He added humorously.

"Thanks" Songstar mewed. He had helped the worries that were constantly flowing through her. She noticed that he could be sweet when he wasn't trying to flirt, and found it kind of cute.

"No problem," Sparrowfeather said, smiling at the leader. Just like an apprentice, he was growing weary of sitting around too much, and had to get on his paws. Stretching out, Sparrowfeather mewed, "Fancy a walk? I'm growing stiff just sitting here."

"A walk sounds nice" she mewed. She got to her paws and shook out her pelt. "So where do you want to go?" she asked.

Sparrowfeather shrugged, light brown shoulders slumping as his muscles relaxed. "Any where's fine," He said, yawning wide. "Woah, sorry about that." Blinking away tiredness, the tom flicked his tail. "Do you have any suggestions, my leader?"

((Why is that everytime I ask where someone wants to go they reply the same way?))
Songstar contemplated the decision for a minute. "How about we walk towards the river" she suggested. She wanted to check to see that there was still some water flowing.

ooc; lol, no clue.
Sparrowfeather nodded. "That sounds like a plan." He mewed, licking his muzzle. He was slightly thirsty, a trip down to the river wasn't a bad idea. Padding forward, the sand tabby started leading the way.
