The wind blew and rustled the bushes around the area. Prey scuttled around foraging for nuts or whatever they could get there grubby paws on. One mouse got lucky and found a nice sized nut. It nibbled on it and stopped for a second, then nibbled again. As the lone mouse savored the food a predator watched it.
The predator moved forward towards the mouse, but the mouse never noticed the creature, so it pressed further. As it got closer you could see blue eyes flashing off the sunshine and then quick as lightning it lunged forward sinking it's claws and teeth into the unfortunate mouse. It was over like that... The creature looked proud of him self as he dug up a shallow grave for the mouse and put the little husk of the formerly live mouse on the patch and then preceded to put the dirt over it.
Now that the hunt was over you could see the predator clearly and it turned out to be a cat. A gray cat with battle scars and bright blue eyes. This is Thunderclan's leader, Phadestar. He leads the clan with his wits and survival instincts. He truly is one of a kind and right now his kind says he wants to lay down for a second and so he does.
He stretches before sitting down and finally wrapping his tail around his legs 'I'm expecting someone to be here soon...' he thought to himself as he waited for the mysterious other.
(I'm reintroducing Phadestar and trying to regain a sense for RPing, so lets go!!)

A brown tabby she-cat padded through the forest, her amber eyes flcking around her surroundings. Her senses were on high alert searching for a certain tom that she knew was lurking around. She caught the familar scent and followed it into a clearing.
Amberfire smiled as her mate came into view. She went up and nuzzled Phadestar. "Hello" she purred.

Phadestar returned the loving gesture and said "And hello to you as well" his tail swished around as he nuzzled her and the wind ruffled his fur a bit. The sand kicked up a little, but it wasn't unbearable. Though it did add a sparkle to the whole background of foliage surrounding the two lovers.

Amberfire smiled and took a seat beside her mate, leaning into him. "How was your hunt?" she asked. "Did you catch anything?"

Phadestar thought for a second and then said "Two thrushes and a mouse... Which isn't bad considering this is the beginning of Leaf Fall, however it's about to get a lot tougher" he finished with ominous intent as no clan looked forward to Leaf Fall as the land would make it tough on both prey and cats who wished to survive till next New Leaf.

"Thats great" she mewed. "The prey will still be running well for at least another moon" Amberfire said. She knew the cold weather was coming though and too soon prey would be scarce and sickness would become common amongst the clans.

Phadestar looked around and said "We need to come up with something... A strategy of some sort to keep us ahead of the other clans!!" he paused and then said "I think we should double the hunting patrols and take three patrols a day to the borders so we can make sure none of the other clans get ideas" he then turned to her "I need a second opinion though and I would value your input to the situation if you would be so kind Amberfire?" he asked her with urgency.

"The doubling of hunting patrols is a good idea, but not yet, its still early" Amberfire mewed "we don't want to overhunt and have nothing left for leafbare." "As for the border patrols, I don't think an increase in those is ever a bad idea" she said.

Phadestar nodded as he listened to her testimony and when she finished he said "Thank you for giving me a second opinion Amberfire this will make it much easier in the following moons to come" Phadestar looked up at the sky "The sunshine is going to be missed in the following moons" he sighed then continued "Hopefully we can get enough heat to keep our pads from freezing" he finished without a another word.

"Anytime" Amberfire mewed. She listened as her mate spoke. "I hope we have a bright leafbare" she mewed "its always nicer when the sun shines." "It also makes everything sparkle" she added, thinking of how pretty the snow was when it glittered.

Phadestar nodded "Yeah it is a pretty nice outlook..." He then got to his paws and said "We should get back ill pick up the prey and then we can get to camp!!" he paused and then added "When we get back ill need several Warriors to help patch up the Thunderclan defenses you can never be sure if another clan is going to start trouble and we need to be ready for any fox or other creature waiting to get us" he then went to where the mouse was buried and got it out.
He then stopped at the beginning of the clearing and waited for Amberfire.

Amberfire got to her paws and followed after mate. She was used to his habit of switching topics rapidlyafter their many moons together. "I can help with the patching if you'd like" she mewed.

"Of course I would be glad to have your help!!!" he said with delight as he padded off closely followed by his mate to the camp.
