Halflight sat underneath the shade of a tall pine tree, his eyes narrowed to lazy slits. To any other cat, he seemed as he were glaring at the sun-high busy clearing, his face a cold mask, but in reality he was simply enjoying the still-warm sun, the cool pre-winter wind, and the serenity of the clearing. Although he wished he had someone to speak to, he didn't mind and simply lay there, enjoying his moment of peace,

Delicate pawsteps noiselessly glided across the ground. The she-cat stopped suddenly, unsure of whether or not to approach her clanmate. She hesitated, thinking to walk away and then turned back. "I saw you practice fighting earlier. You're really good." Stardust mewed softly. Having just become a warrior, Stardust was overall inexperienced, but fighting had always been her weakest skill.
