Name: Skypaw
Age: 6 moons
Gender: Female
Clan: ThunderClan
Position: Apprentice
Mentor: Needed
Description:
Dark red and white she-cat with dark blue eyes.
Personality: Skypaw is a shy young she-cat. She skitters around her clanmates nervously, afraid of their rejection, but at the same time wants desperately to prove herself. She has a quick mind and is clever but rather small.
What she lacks in size, she makes up for speed. She's light on her feet and loves practicing hunting moves since its the only thing she's really good at. She takes great pride in this fact, happily showing off to her denmates. She wants to be accepted more than anything and hopes her talent as a huntress will earn her a place among her clanmates.
She's achingly loyal to her clan and generally friendly to her clanmates, despite her shyness. She never goes back on her word and if a cats got a secret to tell, she'll dutifully keep it. She always wants to help her clanmates however she can.
Skypaw has a few secrets of her own. She doesn't believe in StarClan, something she has never shared with anyone. The idea of starry warriors watching over the clans seems preposterous to her. Sometimes she just wants to yowl at the cats who look down on her but she holds her tongue. Ambition burns like a bright flame deep within her, and the name "Skystar" haunts her dreams. She believes the only way to gain her clanmate's respect is if she becomes clan leader. And a dark voice whispers inside her that she'll do anything to achieve it. She needs a friend, someone to keep her on the right path.
History:
A dark red blob moves swiftly and purposely along the ThunderClan border. Her eyes are wide and clouded with fear and her ears shift back and forth like radio transmitors. A red bundle of fur dangles loosely from her jaws, mewing pitifully. Looking both ways, she quickly sets the kit that she never wanted down, heart pounding violently within her chest and darts off without looking back.
The kit's wails grow louder as the rain drenches her downy coat. Her tiny body trembles, helpless, alone. Next thing she knows, a warm tongue is licking her fur the wrong way. She snuggles towards the warmth and is lifted gently. In the moons to follow, she learns true love and earns a name. She knows she doesn't truly belong to the cat whose milk she drinks and nest she curls up in at night, but it doesn't bother her. She just wants love. Acceptance. Her "mother" loves her. She's proud of her little fireball, much prouder than her real mother ever was. She prays she takes after the she-cat who raised her, not the one who's blood runs through her veins. As she grows older and takes the vow of an apprentice, she stands a little straighter, a little prouder because she is a ThunderClan apprentice and it feels a lot like acceptance and trust that she plans to earn and keep no matter what.
Unfortunately for her, this road is much harder than she expects. She quickly finds out she can't do much right. She's always getting into trouble, always getting tangled into other cat's fur. Some cats dislike her because she's not clanborn. She's resiliant though. She makes up her mind that no cat can stop her from becoming a loyal warrior of ThunderClan. She'll have to prove them wrong, earn their respect somehow and make the she-cat that raised her proud. That's what she wants more than anything.
