Name:
--Aerowhisker
Age:
--23 moons
Gender:
--Female
Clan:
--WindClan
Position:
--Warrior
Description:
-Aerowhisker is a beautiful sepia she-cat with a sleek body. Her most unique feature is the half tan mask on her face. She has dainty paws and slim legs that are just right for the makings of a WindClan hunter. She has a patch of tan on her left shoulder and a few specks of tan and darker brown on her hind right leg. The she-cat possesses unusually long salt and pepper whiskers. Aerowhisker has gems that shine a beautiful jade hue.
Personality:
-Aerowhisker is a very shy, soft-spoken feline. She hardly says much, unless she is in the company of her paw-full of friends. She is a very moral she-cat and believes that all cats should abide by the warrior code. When a medicine cat has a mate, she gets slightly offended and tries to ignore it. Aerowhisker won't say anything about it because she despises confrontation. She hates to argue with anyone, regardless of who they are. However, she is loyal to her Clan and would die to save each and every cat, no matter how they get along. They are her clanmates, her family.
She loves the sound of the wind caressing the grasslands, the rustling relaxes her continuously racing mind. Aerowhisker could lay in the prairie-like grass forever and never have the slightest care in the world. She enjoys her den and her friends and her brother. Most definitely the company of her brother.
History:
Kit:
-Aerowhisker was the second born in a litter of three. Her mother, Archflight, had birthing complications after her final sibling was born. Her father, Oratail, was there at the scene of his mate's unfortunate demise. He refused to show any sign of pain at the loss of his love in front of any of his Clanmates, especially his children. He gathered them and began to clean them off, starting with the first one born. Considering that Aerowhisker's mother had died before she could name them, Oratail was now in charge of that task. He examined the first kit, it was a tom who looked a lot like himself. He gave the name some thought and decided on Saffronkit. Next he grabbed the sepia colored kit who had marking very similar to Archflight. He began to clean the tiny body and thought about what to name her. Oratail glanced down at the fragile kitten and named her Aerokit. Lastly he began to cleanse the final kitten. It was also a she-cat. This kitten had looked exactly like Archflight, same markings, same muzzle structure, same streak on her tail. He didn't have to think at all when it came to this kit's name. He smiled a bit and named her Archkit.
Aerokit had a normal life from thereon. Although when she was three moons, she started to realize that her father displayed favoritism for Archkit. She never had gotten jealous, there was no point to it. She spent the majority of her time with her brother, Saffronkit. He was very protective of his younger sister and would often do anything that she asked, which wasn't much. Even at a young age, Aerokit hated asking others for favors. Saffronkit and Aerokit would do nothing but talk about anything that they wanted to. They would wrestle around occasionally, but never had they ever gotten made at each other. Archkit would see her siblings sitting together, speaking so warmly to each other and instant jealousy would set in. She would tumble into one of them, destroying their conversation. Aerokit would sigh at her sister's unneeded behavior and walk away if it was Saffronkit that Archkit had tackled. If she were the one who was being tumbled upon, she would play with her sister for only a moment then squirm her way out from underneath her younger sibling. Finally, it was time to be apprenticed.
Apprentice:
--As an apprentice, Aeropaw was very hard working and did exactly what she would told. Considering that her sister and her brother had also been apprenticed when she was, they often went on a lot training missions together. Aeropaw and Saffronpaw were very well behaved and listened when they were being spoken to or given directions. Archpaw, on the other hand, was very difficult to manage. She wouldn't show up half the time for training, and half of the time when she did decide to show up, she would hardly do anything. When they were out hunting, she would only catch one or two pieces of freshkill. Saffronpaw and Aeropaw would contribute at least three, that is, if their sister didn't decide to cause a ruckus or do something to seek more attention.
Aeropaw's mentor was a she-cat by the name of Opalgaze. Saffronpaw had a Tomcat named Echotrail. Both of these mentors had no affiliation with Oratail, but knew that he hardly gave these two children attention. They would take their apprentices out on "extra missions" and would allow the two to do what they wished. The mentors became like parents to the two apprentices. Archpaw's mentor was Oratail's best Clanmate, so the spoiled cat continued her easy, pampered life. Solsticeclaw was very lenient with the young she-cat. He allowed her to stay at the camp and would compliment her nonexistent hunting skills. The leader of WindClan took full notice to the special treatment of Archpaw and when it came time for them to become warriors, she had to stay behind.
This outraged Oratail and he went straight to the leader to try to convince him to allow his daughter to become a warrior. He was denied each time.
Warrior:
--The second that Aeropaw had received her warrior name, she had fallen in love with. In some awkward way, it fit her perfectly. Her brother had received his warrior name, Saffronridge just moments beforehand. They stood before their Clanmates as Aerowhisker and Saffrongridge, and instantly the pairs of eyes locked with their mentors and smiles appeared on all four cats faces. Oratail and Archpaw, weren't to be found anywhere among the crowd of felines. This didn't bother either of them. They were used to Oratail not being there for anything of theirs. As for Archpaw, she was probably throwing a fit just outside of the camp.
Saffronridge and Aerowhisker accepted their praise humbly. Aerowhisker was sheepishly blushing when they were greeted by Opalgaze and Echotrail. They greeted each other with gentle parent/child nuzzles. Opalgaze looked at Aerowhisker with tears beginning to swell in her eyes out of happiness for her apprentice. Echotrail nodded to both of them and smiled warmly.
After the Ceremony and other ends were tied up, Aerowhisker and Saffronridge went into to the Apprentice den to bid it farewell. Once in there, they found Archpaw, sobbing. They knew why though so they didn't need to ask. Aerowhisker greeted her sister with a friendly smile. Even though Archpaw was spoiled and had been treated like a princess her entire life, she was still their sister. Saffronridge stayed close to Aerowhisker, also bearing a smile upon his muzzle. They tried to persuade their younger sister to listen to her mentor and train hard, that way she would become a warrior just as they were. Archpaw yelled and threw a fit saying how she was doing fine and that the leader just hated her. Both Aerowhisker and Saffronridge found no point in trying to talk to Archpaw so they walked out of the den and into their new one.
Once they were in, their former mentors had greeted them warmly and designated a bed to each of them. They kept the siblings side by side, knowing that they had a magnificent bond. Oratail was huddled in a corner, anger and frustration radiated off of him and he was muttering something to himself about how he tried so hard to get his precious Archpaw to be a warrior. He also mentioned that Aerowhisker and Saffronridge weren't half the warriors that Archpaw was. They decided to ignore their father and curled up beside each other and began talking just as they had when they were kits.
Moons had passed and Archpaw had finally gotten her warrior name, Archberry. Saffronridge and Aerowhisker greeted their sister into the warrior's den happily and complimented her on her new name. Archberry spoke of how it wasn't the one that she wanted, she was hoping for something similar to Archlight or Archsong, something befitting her. Opalgaze and Echotrail scoffed at the new warrior. Solsticeclaw and Oratail allowed Archberry to choose where it was that she was going to sleep. Naturally she chose the the biggest and the best. Aerowhisker wondered how her sister could be so conceited and still be able to talk to others.
More time had passed and Aerowhisker continued living her life with her brother and their adopted parents. She would look over at her sister, seeing how beautiful she was and thinking it wasted beauty. Solsticeclaw and Archberry became mates. Saffronridge, Aerowhisker, Opalgaze, and Echotrail look at as more of a master/servant relationship considering that Archberry orders a very willing Solsticeclaw to do everything for her.
At current, Aerowhisker is twenty-three moons of age, her brother is still her best friend, her sister is still a princess and her father still doesn't realize that he has other children. This doesn't bother her though because she is thankful for Opalgaze and Echotrail. Saffronridge has been keeping busy with hunting and patrolling the borders, keeping his Clan safe.
