Name: Venomwind
Age: 25 moons
Gender: female
Clan: ThunderClan
Position: Warrior
Description:
Personality:
Venomwind is the exact opposite of her sister, Shiningheart. She has no room for foolishness and no tolerance for mischief. Despite this, she and Shiningheart are as close as sisters can get. Shiningheart seems to be the only one that Venomwind will tolerate, though. If anyone else tries to joke with her, she'll stare harshly at them until they go away. Aside from Shiningheart, the only other cat to get away with it is Blizzardshard, their friend from kithood.
Yet another trait that identifies her is that Venomwind is rather realistic. In fact, she's so realistic that it's to the point where it gets annoying. If someone uses the age-old phrase, "When hedgehogs fly!", she'll go, "Hedgehogs don't fly, mousebrain." Then she'll proceed to give you a lengthy lecture on exactly why hedgehogs can't fly and give a more likely scenario, like, "When ShadowClan disbands to become a bunch of kittypets." In her defense, it holds the same disbelief while actually having a possibility, no matter how slim, of happening.
However, she does have good qualities that make her a valuable friend and mate potential. She's very committed in everything that she does. Once she makes a decision to do something, she won't stop until it's completed. If you have problems, whether it be tom trouble, she-cat trouble, or just an insanely large urge to rant, she's the cat to come to. While it may not look like she's listening, Venonwind hears every single word.

History:
Between the two of them, Venomkit was the first to join the world of ThunderClan. Next came Shiningkit. Venomkit's sister was so small that some cats didn't think she'd make it through their first moon of life. It was an understandable fear. After all, they were in the middle of leaf-bare. Darkpelt, their mother, was more than positive that her little daughter would pull through. After all, all three had ShadowClan blood. That made them tougher against the cold.
Of the three of them, Darkpelt and Venomkit and Shiningkit, Darkpelt was the only pure-ShadowClan cat. She'd fallen in love with a ThunderClan tom named Rattail and, after having a falling out with her sister, ran away from her birth Clan to join her mate in ThunderClan.
For the most part, no one took their half-Clan heritage out on the kits. Yes, some looked at them and Darkpelt like they were worth less than the dirt they made, but almost no one ever openly challenged their right into the Clan. Only one cat ever expressed hate toward them, and even then it was more toward Shiningkit than Venomkit.
Moonfrost was a vile she-cat. She called Shiningkit a piece of fox-dung, a half-Clan crowfood eater, a mouse-brained fool, and other mean names that a kit should never have to hear. Venomkit wanted to protect her little sister, but the queen scared her out of her fur. Luckily, though, Shiningkit was more than capable of taking care of herself. The little she-kit had more spunk than anyone thought she was capable of.
The only downside to this was that Moonfrost shared the den with them. She had a son of her own, a tom two moons older than them named Blizzardkit. From the moment Venomkit and Shiningkit both opened their eyes, the three were inseparable. Blizzardkit and Shiningkit were the best of friends, and Venomkit was always the voice of reason when they wanted to play some absurd game of make believe. At least, that's what she always thought.
They grew up, though, as every cat must. Soon they were four moons old and Blizzardkit was made Blizzardpaw, an apprentice. While both Shiningkit and Venomkit were sad to see their friend leave the nursery behind, they were equally excited to not have Moonfrost breathing down their necks. They need not have worried, though, because it was soon their turn to become apprentices.
Apprentice
Blizzardpaw was the first cat to greet them by their apprentice names after the ceremony. He'd been given his father, Brackentail, as a mentor. Venomwind got Ravenfeather, a rather laid-back 'go with the flow' kind of tom. Shiningpaw got a wise, older tom named Foxfur. Unfortunately for the sisters, Brackentail didn't hold much love for them either. He tried to keep his son away from them, but there wasn't much he could do about it when they were best friends and slept in the same den.
In an effort to impress the sisters, Blizzardpaw climbed a tree when they were out alone. He climbed the tallest tree he could find to the highest branch that could hold his weight. The only problem was the branch couldn't hold his weight, and he plummeted to the earth and injured his hind leg.
It was Venompaw who ran to get help. She didn't think anything of it when Shiningpaw ordered her back to camp. Between the two of them, there was no doubt in anyone's mind that Shiningpaw, despite being the youngest and smallest of the trio, was the most dominant one. When she led a small patrol, including Moonfrost and the medicine cat, they found that Shiningpaw had already bound his leg with some nearby cobwebs and a stick to keep it still.
There was fear for a while that Blizzardpaw wouldn't be able to become a warrior, but he worked hard to strengthen his leg and soon was back to training again. It was just in time, too, because RiverClan attacked a border patrol and it became a full-out battle. Venompaw wouldn't admit she was scared, but she didn't need to. She was quivering so much that Shiningpaw and Blizzardpaw, who stood with her, could feel her pelt shaking.
When the first battle shriek sounded, all three sprang into action. Blizzardpaw was a blur. Having been cooped up in the medicine den, there was no doubt he was eager to get back into the swing of things. Shiningpaw and Venompaw stayed side by side for the most part. They got separated somehow in all of the excitement. When Venompaw recognized her sister's voice raised in a screech of pain, she found her lying fatally injured in her own blood in front of a RiverClan tom, a gray cat with silver tabby stripes.
Venompaw's fear disappeared in a flash of rage. This went far beyond a border skirmish. This was cold-blooded. Venompaw flew at the tom. Despite having only been an apprentice for a few moons, she nearly killed the other cat. The battle was called off and the medicine cat called for. Blizzardpaw found some cobwebs nearby and pressed them against Shiningpaw's wound. It was an act of desperation that ended up saving her life.
From then on, he barely let either of them out of his sight, though it was more than obvious the attention was more for Shiningpaw than it was for Venompaw. This crushed the young she-cat, because she'd grown to have a little crush on her sister's best friend. During this time, though, Shiningpaw also grew to like him. Blizzardpaw noticed her affections, and actually began to return them.
It was when Blizzardpaw refused his warrior name the first time that Venompaw realized she stood no chance with her crush. He'd looked directly at Shiningpaw and meowed, "After all, it's not easy to leave the one you love." Since then, the two swore that they'd be mates even in StarClan.
Venomwind was given her name because she was the fastest in the trio. Shiningheart was named so because her heart was always shining even in the darkest times, and her mate was given the name Blizzardshard because, even though he'd been left shattered by his mother's betrayal to the Clan, he'd picked up the shards one by one until he stood before his Clan a full warrior. Venomwind and Shiningheart were 12 moons. Blizzardshard was 14.
Since then, Shiningheart's had two litters. The older one consists of Darkpaw, Lightpaw, and Smokepaw. The second litter has Sunkit, Willowkit, and Stonekit.
