[Brackenstar]
The tom padded at the head of his clan, his senses alert. The fact that there was a truce held at The Island didn't mean that it applied in the surrounding areas. Amber eyes scanned the surroundings, and his mouth was slightly open as he tasted the air. He could only smell RiverClan.
Relaxing slightly, he slowly made his way across the river that separated the ground. The water was shallow, and his underbelly fur barely brushed it.
Brackenstar padded out of the water, his calm expression not changing for a moment as he licked himself dry. He waited for the rest of the clan to cross and dry themselves before continuing.
Now with a dryer pelt, the tom easily slipped through the cluster of bushes that signaled the entrance to The Islands. He could scent no other clan cats. RiverClan had arrived first.
[Silverpaw]
The feisty little she-cat padded close beside the other WindClan cats, olive eyes round with curiosity as she followed the Clan to The Island. It wasn't her first Gathering, by all means; but just the fact that she had been chosen to attend was a surprise in itself.
Matters hadn't been going too smoothly for her. She had managed to get herself into trouble more than three times in the past moon, and earned herself several visits to the elders.
Perhaps Northstar was finally loosing it? Silverpaw shook her head. Be that as it may, he was still her leader and deserved her respect. Furthermore, he had allowed her to come.
Tiny silver paws beat against the ground as she padded, barely making a sound as her tiny and swift body moved down the gorse.
She could smell the fishy scent of RiverClan already, and she scrunched up her nose in disgust. She didn't have much of a taste for fish, and absolutely loathed to get her paws wet.
The Gathering was held in an island though...
Sighing, Silverpaw got ready for that most uncomfortable feeling. She just hoped it wasn't too cold.

Ripplestream followed after Brackenstar, not even bothering to shake out the water from his pelt. Being RiverClan, they were the only Clan to swim to the island. The other Clans would probably take the treebridge, the mouse-hearts.
He didn't have long to wait until his leader led the Clan into the clearing. No other cats were there to greet them; it seems RiverClan was the first to get there. Ripplestream smirked with pride, like he had something to do with it.
My first Gathering as a SP member, woot! *laugh*

Silentkit followed behind the other Riverclanners. She had snuck out of camp, being a curios kitten she followed... who could blame her? the kit follwed behind her leader at a distance. unable to wade through the water as the others. She had to swim. she swam quickly getting quite wet all the way. It was too late to make her turn back now. She was already here.
Silentkit smiled and sat at the back of the gathering. She couldn't wait to see what happened! She stayed as hidden as a tiny kit could. She would leave early as to get back to camp before any cat saw she was there... and once she got back would brag immensely about it to all of her many friends.

Fallenwhisper Moving confidently towards the Gathering, Fallenwhisper crossed the log with ShadowClan falling in behind once again. This is becoming too frequent... The medicine cat thought, slightly annoyed. Once she hopped down she started towards the area where the other medicine cats usually met up only to realize that none of them were there yet. But she saw Brackenstar. "Greetings Brackenstar, how is RiverClan?

Notes:: Groovy, kits are not allowed in Gatherings, they are too young to come. But you can have Marblepaw here. I think I'm just gonna have Fallenwhisper here tonight.

Eclipsedstar's muscles pumped with effort, his long fur streaming out behind him. How could you be late to your first gathering?! he cursed himself. He passed Fallenwhisper, an apology in his large, pale green eyes. The young, inexperienced leader tried to compose himself. The giant black tabby glanced up at the tree where the leaders sat and felt a lump in his throat. He fixed his eyes in a look of determination and leaped up to the highest root.
Shadowmask fixed his leader with an unreadable gaze, his hard to read features hiding his scrutiny and sympathy. He will learn. The senior warrior thought, hoping that Eclipsedstar could confidently report on Shadowclan news at gatherings during their clan leader's injury.
Laughingfox trotted after Brackenstar, a cheery smirk on his face. Time to see how the she-cats in the other clans are looking! he thought to himself, his eyebrows lifting in amusement. Never as good as Riverclan... he thought, looking the she-cats from the other clans up and down in boredom as he padded through the clearly with a pompous air.

Ripplestream snorted as his gaze found Laughingfox, one of his Clanmates. The fool was openly oogling the she-cats from the other Clans. When would he learn to take she-cats seriously? Ripplestream almost smirked at the mental image of Laughingfox being slapped in the face. Ah, that would be the best day in his life.
He blinked as he realized that ShadowClan had a new leader, a tom he'd never seen before. The cat looks nervous and flustered, not the confident or aggressive looks of ShadowClan's past leaders. What had happened to their other leader?
Cinderblaze blinked as he followed Eclipsedstar onto the island. He wandered around in a daze, wondering who to speak to. None of the other Clans knew he was the new deputy, and he wanted as much normalcy as he could get until the announcement was made. Would the other Clans believe it? He doubted it, since Cinderblaze hardly believed it himself. When were the other leaders going to get there?

Fallenwhisper The medicine cat accepted her leader's apology with a slight nod, her eyes warming up to the young tom. She shouldn't have been so tough on him, he was really young and had only been leader for such a short time. Fallenwhisper would talk with him after the gathering though. She knew he would need her help for at least a couple moons until he got the hang od it. But she was slightly worried about Eclipsedstar, if he faltered even once during the gathering, the other Clans would certainly pounce on the opportunity to take revenge from things done long ago in the past.
Fallenwhisper spotted the new deputy as well, he looked nervous as well. Both would need encouragement. Her thoughts were interrupted when Laughingfox came near Brackenstar and herself with a smirk on his face. She frowned at him and shook her head sternly. Don't even think about it! Keep your eyes on your own Clan's females. Remember the Warrior Code young warrior. She wanted to slap that smirk off his face with her tail but settled with silence.

Eclipsedstar met his medicine cat's eyes from the tree root and his gaze hardened. He needed to be confident for his clan. He nodded in thanks to Fallenwhisper for her quiet reassurance and sat up taller, his muscles showing menacingly on his large frame.
Magicpaw galloped into the clearing. She had nearly plunged into the water below the log on the way to the gathering, careless in her excitement. Luckily, one of the warriors had grabbed her by the scruff. The only damage done was that her white paws had been dipped in the chilly water.
Laughingfox gazed up at the new Shadowclan leader and snorted. Looks like a badger trying to balance on a blade of grass, doesn't he? he mused, mischief in his eyes.
Magicpaw found herself staring at the arrogant Riverclan tom, Laughingfox. She had heard her mentor, Acornscramble, muttering about him angrily after a gathering. She saw the pompous look in his eyes and followed his gaze to the new Shadowclan leader. He's enormous! Magicpaw thought, her golden eyes wide. Her orbs narrowed as she glanced back at the young Riverclan warrior. She didn't like that look on his face. As the young tom began to walk forward to say something, Magicpaw scurried under his feet and tripped him. "Sorry! Better keep your eyes on where you're going next time!" she chirruped mischievously. That's for Acornscramble! she thought happily.
Laughingfox scoffed and gazed at the young apprentice mutinously. Amusement glittered in Shadowmask's eyes as he saw Laughingfox deservingly tumble head over paws, but he stifled any semblance of laughter. That one is going to be a pawful. he thought, his eyes traveling to the young tuxedo she-cat from Thunderclan.

[Brackenstar]
The leader dipped his head respectfully to Shadowclan's medicine cat, greeting her back in his usual quiet tone of voice. "Hello, Fallenwhisper. RiverClan is well, thank you for asking. How is Shadowclan faring?" Brackenstar switched his gaze from the she-cat to the rest of his clan, amber orbs fixing on Laughingfox. He wondered if it had been a wise decision to allow him to come. Sighing inwardly, he let his eyes wander around the place.
His eyes came to rest on ShadowClan's new leader, Eclipsedstar. Brackenstar looked at him calmly, his bushy tail flicking nonchalantly behind him. The way the new leader carried himself was not like previous ShadowClanners did. Perhaps this one would be different, after all.
Reminding himself of his manners, RiverClan's leader turned his attention again to the medicine cat before him. "I see the new leader in your clan is quite a young one." He mewed quietly, his tail now wrapping around his paws. "I look forward to the addressing of the clans." That, however, seemed still far from happening. Neither ThunderClan or WindClan had arrived yet.
ooc;I shall post with Silverpaw after Northstar arrives.

Eclipsedstar's bright green gaze fixed on the full moon above them, illuminating the night sky. Where were the other two clans?

Ripplestream growled to himself, his ears and tail twitching impatiently. "Where are WindClan and ThunderClan? I'm getting annoyed at their lateness!" he complained loudly.
Cinderblaze heard the yowl of one of RiverClan's cats, and silently nodded to himself. It wouldn't do to start the Gathering with only two Clans present, but he wondered how long the Clans could afford to wait for them.

[Brackenstar]
Brackenstar leaped onto one of the four branches of the fallen tree, looking down at the assembling cats. He was a calm cat, but this was just stretching it too far. Last gathering it had been ThunderClan the only one to be late, now it seemed that WindClan wanted to play the same game.
The leader curled his tail around his paws, looking up at silverpelt. It was clear, his ancestors shinning down at them. They were tranquil. So they are not angered by the other Clans' lateness..? Brackenstar thought. Something important must be keeping them, then.
Patience flowed into him. Young as he was, he had proved many cats wrong when they doubted his wisdom and strength. He was too old for his age. Turning his head down to look at his own Clan, he prepared his voice. It had been a few moons since he had had to raise it. "RiverClan," He called, letting Eclipsedstar deal with his own clan, "I beg for your patience. ThunderClan and WindClan should be here soon. Our ancestors are not angry, therefore you shouldn't lose your calm either."

Storyteller glanced around for any elders from the other clans, hoping there would be some there. Is it always this lonely being an elder? he thought regretfully. His spat with his previous apprentice, Wildfire, earlier that day had already made him susceptible to pessimistic thoughts. He wished that Windclan had more elders.
His ears twitched in surprise at Brackenstar's voice. Was Windclan very late? He glanced around, looking for his clan leader, Northstar.

Marblepaw padded over to Storyteller. "Hi!" He whispered. He wanted to meet some other cats.
