Description:
Ambersun has plain tortoiseshell fur with mostly tabby markings and small patches of ginger. Her fur is short and coarse, and her whites patches are very small, only on her belly and up her nose. Her eyes are wide and an interesting yellow-amber color that stands out in any crowd. Ambersun's cheerful expression is almost constant, and her gracefully rounded ears give her a youthful appearance. Ambersun has long, lanky limbs but strong flanks and shoulders.
Personality:
Ambersun is constantly energetic. She's optimistic and talkative, and rarely stops moving long enough to have a conversation. She's easily excited, and has a hard time being as proper as her sister. She states her opinion very openly and has a hard time understanding the necessity of secrecy. But even if she's a blab, she still likes to be the confidant of others and is easy to talk to. Ambersun is not very bright, but she makes up for it with her unbriddled enthusiasm.

Fairlight has a much more somber, mature look than her sister. Her pale hazel eyes resembles their mother's, and her long nose gives her a somewhat haughty look if paired with her almond-shaped eyes. Fairlight has soft long fur and large white patches with only a few spots. Her tail is long and thick, and her legs are lean and more proportional to her body than her sister's are. Fairlight has a slim build, but it is stronger than Ambersun's.
Personality:
Fairlight is considered very arrogant and egotystical. However, she is not really consumed with herself. She cares about others and has a deeply concerned heart that attaches to any creature suffering. This quality is masked, however, by her opinionated side. She's stubborn and likes to be right, and is known for getting into arguements at the drop of a hat. She's loud when voicing her thoughts, yet understands when times call for quiet. She's respectful of those above her station, and those older than she. Fairlight also demands that amount of respect from those around her.

History: Ridgeclaw and Frailwhisker were perfect for each other - Ridgeclaw was loud and impaitent, Frailwhisker was quiet and meek. Together they brought out each other's better sides, and they had originally been brought together by this fact. Frailwhisker was being abused by her mate, who had forced her to submit to him since she was an apprentice. Frailwhisker rarely spoke, and felt that she was not beautiful or worth anything. Ridgeclaw saw the beauty in her and was appalled at the treatment she recieved. So he befriended her, risking her mate's anger to ensure her of her self-worth. Frailwhisker began to love him, and he felt the same about her, though he wouldn't admit it to himself. Frailwhisker found out she was pregnant with her mate's kits. She was afraid that Ridgeclaw wouldn't want anything to do with her anymore. She ran away, wanting to give birth to her kits, abandon them, and return, like nothing had happened. But Ridgeclaw found her and brought her back, telling her that he would love her kits as he loved her. She found the strength to reject her abusive mate and accepted Ridgeclaw in his stead. They raised her first litter together - there were two kits, Fairkit and Bearkit. But as they grew, Frailwhisker's previous mate became jealous of her attachment to Ridgeclaw. He kidnapped their kits and tried to drown them both, but Ridgeclaw followed him and they fought. The kidnapper fell into the river and drowned. Ridgeclaw was only in time to save Fairkit, while Bearkit was lost. Frailwhisker was devastated at the news, but with Ridgeclaw's and Fairkit's company she managed to get over her loss. Fairkit became an apprentice, cold and thoughtful, mostly because of the whispers about her and her father. But she loosened up when her mother gave birth to a new litter, with only one kit - Amberkit. The two sisters became close, despite their different personalities. They grew up together, helping each other. Because of an accident during training Fairpaw had to wait a few moons to become a warrior, so she and Amberpaw shared a ceremony. Since then, they've served their Clan diligently.
