Name: Serendipity
Age: 13 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: N/A
Position: Kittypet
Description: She is a very lithe, and delicate cat, but she isn’t small in stature, just dainty. Her coat is short and feathery soft from dedicated hours of grooming either by her twolegs or herself. It is decorated with soft hues, three to be exact. A light gray predominates, followed by soft creamy peach splashes blending delicately with the rest of her pelt here and there. Unstained, clear white runs from her muzzle and around her neck like a thick collar, and from her neck to her chest and belly. Her paws are also white, spreading half-way up her legs. Some almost imperceptibly darker tabby markings hide on the gray of her pelt, yet they aren’t very pronounced and one could almost say she is a solid calico rather than a tabby one. She bears a harlequin of dilute colors randomly splashed on her pelt, just like her inquisitive, optimistic personality, and to emphasize that further, her eyes are very particular, they are mismatched. Her right eye is a bright amber, while her left eye is green. Her small nose as well as her pawpads, are a soft pink. Her whiskers very thin and not very visible. She wears a purple collar with a bell, she doesn’t mind it, but she is oblivious to the danger it might bring her as it attracts other creatures attention.
Personality: The lively she-cat is always looking for something to do. Boundless energy makes her restless and fidgety when not occupied. She is curious and inquisitive, and may stray far from her twolegs. Her sense of direction is simply terrible-- she easily gets lost, and somehow manages to find her way back. Serendipity earns her name due to her uncanny luck and her aptitude for making accidental discoveries. She is outgoing and talkative, sometimes to the point of being goofy and this is not always intentional. Serendipity doesn’t mind talking to a complete stranger and cannot seem to differentiate good from evil, everyone seems like a viable friend to her. She is carefree, and is oblivious to almost everything surrounding her, thus she is often caught in trouble, and sometimes she is quite a magnet for misfortunes, which she overcomes with her optimist kit-like attitude. Much of her personality is perhaps inherited from her loner father, yet she preserves the dainty elegance of her kittypet mother.
History: Serendipity was born to a spoiled, pretentious kittypet queen, and a mischievous loner tomcat whose roguish charm enchanted said queen. Her twolegs did not approve of their pure-breed Angora bearing a stray’s litter, yet they were not heartless enough to rid themselves of the kittens. The arrogant queen would watch in amusement as she saw the slow bipedal animals chasing after her mate, and would have a laugh from time to time as he ran. The tom would get lost for days, to later reappear on her yard, sneaking in with a treat of mice or other prey. So the queen was accustomed to such attention, and so were her three kittens. They grew up to be loved by their twolegs, a father would come and go constantly, and a mother who in spite of herself did love her kittens. A few moons passed and her two siblings disappeared in the arms of the twolegs. Unknown to her, they were given in adoption to other twoleg families. Serendipity remained, her curiosity and instincts growing. Her personality developing between a pampered kitty pet, and an inquisitive and adventurer nature of a stray. She shared characteristics of both worlds, of her dam and sire. Serendipity grew prone to wondering outside the yard, the forest became a diversion place, were she enjoyed exploring and learning of the outside world. Sometimes she would even manage to catch her own prey. The feral side of her emerging, while maintaining the elegant delicacy of a kitty pet.
