Description:
Cinderflight has long, thick fur with ginger and white-cream patches (but these are faint and not well defined). She has a pretty face and big round green eyes. Her forelimbs are rather short, but she has powerful hindlegs like all the ancestors of her Clan.
Personality:
Cinderflight is tender-hearted and nurturing. She's not very coordinated, but is excellent at relating to others, and especially little kits. She's protective and sometimes overly so, but she has a good heart. She's constantly muttering about something, and some cats think she's a bit crazy, when in reality she just remembers things and thinks better when she talks out loud to herself.
History:
Cinderflight's parents were Buckstream and Lightsnatch. Buckstream came from the Twolegplace and used to be an alleycat. He fell in love with the purebred SkyClan warrior Lightsnatch after only two moons in the camp, so he decided to join SkyClan for good. The two became close very quickly, and soon were expecting their first litter. Cinderkit, Applekit, and Tarnishkit were rambunctious and stubborn. They did everything they possibly could to get into trouble, or so it seemed to their parents. They were apprenticed together and raised as loyal warriors, though Tarnishpaw rebelled against his father many times, angry of the teasing he received because of his non-Clan blooded father. One day he was nowhere to be found, and Cinderpaw went looking for him along with her sister. They found him on a Thunderpath, trying to leave the Clan, and had to bring the news back to their parents. Lightsnatch was torn by the loss of her kit and grew distant from every cat, even Buckstream. Instead of becoming distraught, Buckstream became sullen and violent after his son's death. He became abusive towards Applepaw and Cinderpaw whenever they were near him, so they grew distanced from their parents. Finally the last blow was dealt when Applepaw ran off with a cat from Twolegplace, leaving Cinderpaw alone. Lightsnatch went crazy and began to hear voices, and she believed these voices were her only friends in the world. They told her to kill her daughter and mate, so one night she drew them out and Cinderpaw watched as her own mother killed her father and turned to kill her, as well. Cinderpaw had no choice but to fight her mother. The two battled until Lightsnatch fell off the side of the ravine and drowned in the river below. Cinderpaw was left without anyone in the world to talk to, and she became distant and sad. Finally she met Pinepaw, and the two become close. When they were made warriors, they were practically inseparable. They became mates soon after, and Cinderflight relished the chance to start a new family. That's why the pain of losing her two kits, Cloudkit and Dawnkit, to the cold Leafbare was terrible. She was very protective of Sandkit as a result, and still more so of her second litter, with her three kits Cloudkit, Dawnkit, and Songkit.
