Echoing memories, catching those in her gaze in a trance. Mesmerized, hypnotized, falling into an eternity of understanding, of curiosity. Laughing and dancing, whirling in circles. Deep, light blue, stronger than the sun's reflection on water. Sky's reflection on a lake, all poured into one tiny kitten's eyes, swirling and turning with the sun's angle. Bright and young, interested and curious, hopeful and trusting. Catch everything yet nothing, seeing more than most but less than many. Dancing and glittering within themselves, smiling sweetly and pulling many into a stare, a helpless circle of admiration. Smirking and closing in a secondlong blink, but long enough to break away. Softening and hardening when necessary, but always keeping the playful tone.
[/the eyes]
Sighing frown within pearly white teeth, kept clean by active pink tongue. Sarcastic light pink nose rests upon white smile, bridged to the left and right by darker hues. Left side protected by dark gray, pausing at the tip of the eye and wondering if it should intrude. Refusing, backing away from the center where the orange takes over, it's a shadow or a mirror, whichever would be preferred to be seen by. Eyeroll at the obtrusive orange, claiming her ear instead of letting the default white take it over. Gray hesitates, only taking the lower half and allowing its superior to take the tip. Overcautious white fur blocked the clean pink interior of the ear and hissed in frustration at the white attempting to spill into the eardrums. White chin hosts creative verbs, scolding the children known as her ear and fur.
[/the face]
Soft, fluffy white belly holds frequent laughter, sharing elder's tales with her sisters the legs. All four display trademark white, tipped with matching lightness for the claws. White chest supports a friendly heart, filling her entire body with warmth. Tail's bottom coated in the white, overpainted with black and an orange tip. Further up the back orange marks a border between white and black, then is cut off abruptly in an unwelcome white invasion. Black fights back, taking the place of the orange while it recovers just ahead. Then two colors fight one, black making headway down her leg then white finally winning. Back of her neck is half black, half orange, thin stripes running down it.

Summary
Compassion marks her veins like blood. Unable to leave a friend in danger, always wanting to help. Perfect medicine cat save for the fact that herbs tire and sicken pink nose. Troubles battling for want for peace and love within all hearts, wondering why war must invade the Clans. Sigh of annoyance at inability to leave camp and check on others to make sure all are well, none are sick or wounded and wanting to help if any are. Scoffing remarks when disallowed, but refusal to break warrior code and leader's say chains her to camp.
Understandingly acts as a shield for the gazers. Never wants to watch them endure physical or mental pain, from love or simply a wound. Loves to listen to those who need her, sometimes explaining a difficulty. Supports any who needs to be supported, never watching any fall without her catching them to the best of her ability. Keeps secrets when needed, and can always be trusted to never let a soul down.
Cautious within own territory or in another Clan's. Muttering truths spreading through the forests, traveling down the rivers. Flaring rumors causing fear of badgers and foxes, loners and trespassers. Snort of disapproval when catching out of Clan cats, fur rising in warning with those who belong to their rivals. Loyalty rushes through her veins, only to leave her own territory if needed or to rarely sneak away.
Fearful of darkness. Creepy shadows in the foggy mists, slipping and slithering along like snakes prepared to pounce. Trembling fear as wandering through, without the light to illuminate the setting and let any see what lies in store for their racing heart. Shaking like a leaf and jumping in fear of each haunting, hollow sound, pressing close to the ground to hide among the snow, leaves, or mud, too afraid to leap into a tree or bush for head is occupied with the sound just heard. Frantic scrabbling of paws to flee if there is danger, annoyance with self for spoiling white pelt otherwise. Moments wasted in the cleaning, even with a river nearby; distrust in many things terrifying the poor fluff.

Story
Shatteredkit slowly opened her three week old eyes. They surveyed the small den, searching for her siblings and father by scent but it would appear by sight. The youngest of the litter, her eyes had only opened two days ago while the others' had more like six. Not that it really mattered for her, anyway. She hadn't been able to tell her mother, Hauntedshadow, that she couldn't see because she didn't know what it was like to see. She only knew that the den was small because it had been described to her and she could feel the walls around her, though they weren't actually that close. Shattered turned her head and called out her sister's name, unable to scent her. "Chancekit? Where are you?" Her tone had a slight hint of panic. Her mother's warmth wasn't in the den, either. When Chancekit entered, she stumbled over her sister, mewing over and over that their father, Darkblaze, was missing and they'd found the only tomkit in the family laying on the ground, dead. Hauntedshadow was searching for the cat who had killed him, whom she assumed was Darkblaze himself.
"We found a trail after a moment, coated with blood. Dad's blood. I don't think that he killed Splashkit. Mom said there was badger scent in the area too, but she still thinks it was Dad who did it. Oh, I miss Splashkit so much! And Daddy! We have to go find them! Come on, Shatteredkit." Chancekit pulled her after her. "No, Chancekit. I'm staying here." She growled, then struggled away and glared where she hoped her sister was still standing at. Unfortunately, she wasn't. Chancekit tilted her head and asked if she was okay. "No, I'm not," Shattered flashed back, "all I see is darkness. I'm blind." Chancekit gasped, then fled. Using her fresh scent, the now annoyed Shatteredkit returned to the nursery, letting herself fall asleep.
--
Shatteredkit was forced awake by the sound of yowling. Was there a battle going on outside? She scented blood. . . and her father. Groaning, she dragged herself to her paws and carried herself out to the center of the camp where her father's body now lay. She softened, sitting next to him and licking his slightly bloody pelt. Where was Chancekit? Glancing up in alarm, her mouth was too full of the taste of blood to scent her. Then she was suddenly thrown back into the nursery by Hauntedshadow and was told to stay and go back to sleep. And so she did, wise enough to not ask a question about it.
--
As it turns out, Chancekit found her father. He then killed her, like he had killed Splashkit. Hauntedshadow found him and killed him, dragging both kits and her dead mate to camp. She was exiled after Shatteredkit was weaned and became a kittypet. Shatteredkit grew up alone, save for the apprentice or two when she became one herself.
