Timberwolf
Tom | Twenty five Moons | Pale amber | Silver Tabby | Loquacious | Intelligent | Driven
Age: Twenty Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: Shadowclan
Position: Warrior
Description:
Timberwolf is much larger than average cats but not to the point where he can tower over every cat he meets, even though he is almost close to that point. His entire body is made of long shaggy fur, except for his legs and head of course. This is most visible on his chest because his whole front is completely white. Besides his mouth that is the only area with white fur. The rest is silver with dark gray tabby markings. His paw are large and almost black in color. His tail is slightly plummy and dark gray as well. His eyes are a pale amber that can be quite intimidating when he's angry.
Personality:
Timberwolf was taught from an early age to treat every cat properly, even if they aren't from his own clan. The only time for harsh words and claws was during battle because only then would kind words do nothing. He has a great respect for all elder warriors and elders themselves. There will never be a time when he would blatantly talk back to an older warrior. That is he wouldn't do it in a kittenish manner, he would rather make another see reason through negotiation. Timberwolf understand that some of his clanmates don't approve of his friendliness towards outside cats, but until he can see that another cat is a threat to his clan he will act civil. However this is not to say that Timberwolf is all words he is a skilled fighter preferring to get into another cats defenses then overpowering them in fell swoop. His intelligence is greater than most cats but not so much that Timberwolf will use it to bother others with it. However the problem with this is that he revolves his world around facts and figures that he has built a shield up to protect his emotions. If this shield is to be broken, it will take a great amount of time to repair it.
History:
Timberkit's mother was a very smart young she-cat who was a great credit to her clan. His mother, Skyfur, taught him nearly everything that he knows. She always knew that her kit was special but this wasn't just some queens disillusioned thinking that her kit could accomplish anything. Skyfur had a feeling that Timberkit could do anything he wanted to do. She would spend hours with him telling him stories about the clans past and against what her clanmates told her she would take Timberkit out into Shadowclan's territory. Every plant, animal, basically everything they passed by Skyfur would explain to her kit its name, what purpose it served and even a few interesting facts that she come to learn over time. Timberkit would ask his mother how she knew all this to which his mother would reply that she always wanted to learn something and the world was full of things that she has yet to learn about.
As he was nearing his apprentice ceremony Timberkit began to notice how his mother began to act strangely. She would cry out randomly as if to another cat. For the most part Skyfur managed to keep it well hidden and Timberkit had his apprentice ceremony.
By his ninth moon Timberpaw noticed that his mother started to become confused. She couldn't keep track of the days sometimes thinking that Timberpaw was still a newborn kit and she believed that she lost him. The clan took notice by now and moved Skyfur to the elders den.
Even though some of his clanmates thought that he ought to be, Timberpaw was never ashamed of his mother, he was proud to be her son. He once asked her during one of her lucid moments why she never had any other kits to which she answered, "Why mess with perfection?". That promptly filled Timberpaw with pride.
Despite the fact his mother was no longer able to regularly take Timberpaw out and teach him more about their surroundings he took it upon himself to continue his teachings. Sometimes he would take his mother with him. He tried to make it a regular thing to tell his mother what he did every day, what he learned, what he caught, who he talked to.
As a warrior Timberwolf continues life as he did as an apprentice, he still competes his warrior duties but doesn't forget to be there for his mother when needed.
