Name: Fadeout
Age: 19 moons
Gender: Male
Clan: ThunderClan
Position: Warrior
Description: Fadeout is a stoutly built young cat with a long body and powerful hindlegs. His paws are large, helping him climb and leap and pounce more efficiently, and his ears are a decent size. His fur is mostly black on his left side, mostly a light brown with dark stripes on his left, all covering his white belly, sides, and neck. His left rear leg and the right fore leg are marked with black and brown patches. He has very narrow eyes that are a piercing yellow-amber, and his nose is long and does not have much of an arch. His nose is pink with black patches on it. His tail is long and is mostly black. His one unique marking is a strangely grey patch that runs down the middle of his back, shaped sort of like a cross.
Personality: Fadeout is a bit skittish and meek. He doesn't think very highly of himself and tends to be the follower in most circumstances. But while he's not exactly a "warrior" by all definitions, he is compassionate and kind and loyal, and would always stand up for those he loves. While he isn't very strong, he makes up for it in his ability to sense the world around him - including other cats. He is very understanding and while he never confronts his own problems, he takes much joy in helping other cats face theirs. It is for this reason that his best friend Firefly's inability to trust him with her problems frustrates him. He is true to his friends and would give his life for them if they asked him to, but sometimes he can't express his feelings, since he's rather shy.
History: Fadeout's parents were Freeheart and Nightfur. Nightfur was a strong, loyal warrior, whose personality was compared to that of angry badgers. Freeheart was a gentle, meek she-cat that had been born crippled and had worked for her warrior name in the Elder's den, constantly tending to their needs and helping the Medicine cat with errands and such. For many moons, Nightfur took no notice of the younger she-cat - no tom did. She often felt lonely, since most cats didn't like to talk to her, except those she helped. She had a secret crush on Nightfur, since he was so strong and confident. Even so, she liked him for more than that. She could see the true him in the little things he did, like bringing food to the elders when the apprentices forgot, or fetching herbs for the Medicine cat when he had little time to do so and was in need of herbs. Nightfur first noticed Freeheart after he sustained a bad injury in a battle with WindClan. While in the Medicine cat's den, she tended to his wounds and spent time with him when he wasn't allowed to leave. He slowly began to enjoy her company, and was surprised that she seemed to know the true him better than any cat. After he was discharged from the Medicine cat's den, he started coming up with more and more ways to help there, or in the elder's den, so that he and Freeheart could talk. They began taking walks together, and he showed her the forest and was never impatient or irritated that she couldn't keep up. She began to love him more fiercely than ever, and Nightfur felt the same, though he was too nervous to actually say anything. In the end, it was quiet Freeheart that told him her feelings first. He was a little irritated that he hadn't been the first to say it, but he accepted her love and told her that he couldn't live without her. They became mates, and soon after Freeheart was expecting their first kits. She gave birth to two healthy tomkits. There was Fadekit, who looked a lot like Freeheart, and Wolfkit, who looked like Nightfur. The two kits were precious to both their parents. Freeheart constantly loved and cared for them, while Nightfur, in his quiet stern way, taught them battle and hunting moves, taught them of the Clan, and played with them. Many cats in the Clan were surprised that he was such a caring father. He ended up mentoring Wolfpaw, while his close friend Mudslide mentored Fadepaw. Fadepaw had developed his mother's disposition, and was a bit squeamish at times, but he always fought to prove himself, and was very proud of any accomplishments. He became close friends with a she-cat named Firepaw, who was a moon older. They did everything together, and she always seemed to understand how he felt when no other cat did. Fadepaw grew to really care for his friend, even love her, but then something happened and Firepaw didn't talk to him about her feelings much anymore, and she seemed... closed off from the world. Fadepaw never understood what was wrong, but he wanted to desperately. When they were made warriors (a moon apart), he always hoped that they could remain as close as they were before...
